Thanatos is RAW SILVER’s first EP release, it’s a three piece leftfield/ambient techno release which reflects the concept of Death-Cleanse-Rebirth, hence the name “Thanatos” which translates to Death in Greek. It is constructed following meditation sound research and motorised translucent beats. “Microyoga” includes vocals from Spivak, a female upcoming Cypriot underground pop artist.

Nico Stephou (1990) is a Cypriot graphic designer, art director and electronic music producer based in Berlin. He is the cofounder of the collaboration platform and record label Honest Electronics and the yearly festival “The Gathering”. As a self-taught producer and DJ since 2008, he has accomplished releases on various compilations of labels like Low Income $quad (Croatia), Memory No.36 Records (U.S.A.), SEAGRAVE (U.K.) and an album release on Speaker Footage (Denmark).
